JAMB Registration 2026/2027
Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has now officially announced the 2026/2027 registration date. The board announced that the JAMB 2026/2027 registration will begins on Monday January 31th, 2026 to Saturday March 5th, 2026 and direct entry registration will commence on Monday March 10th, 2026 and ends on Monday April 7th, 2026.

The JAMB registration will commence on January, 2026 and ends on March, 2026 as usual. Interested candidates wishes to write 2026 JAMB should get prepares before the commencement of the registration. Who Can Register JAMB?
1. A UTME Candidate: UTME Candidate is a candidate who completed their secondary school and passed the required credits in their O’Level results and wish to further their studies at tertary institutions through 100 level. This UTME examination was conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to any interested candidates looking for an admission through 100 level programs into tertiary institutions across the country. Candidate who scored highest scored in Unified Tetiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) may determine the possibility of gaining an admission into higher institutions across the country.
2. A Direct Entry Candidate: A direct entry candidate is a candidate who have already earned a National Diploma, NCE, IJMB, JUMPED or any equivalent qualifications and wishes to gain admission into the 200 level in the universities. Candidates who have earned an excellent A’Level results may get chance of gaining admission into the universities.

Candidates for both UTME and Direct entry are requested the following requirements for registration:

Guidelines for 2026 JAMB Registration
Candidates to successfully complete their 2026 JAMB registration, candidates should follow the guidelines and make sure that they have an active National Identity Number (NIN) while registration of JAMB. JAMB 2026 registration guidelines below:
1. Go to JAMB registration official website via www.jamb.gov.ng
2. Create JAMB profile using National Identity card, new phone number, and active email address. Candidates are strongly advised to use the phone number that nobody used it presently or previously to avoid delaying of receiving profile code.
3. Verify your JAMB profile by using the confirmation profile code sent to your registered SIM card or email address. Once your JAMB profile is successfully created, proceed to the next stage of the registration.
4 . Obtain e-PIN, candidates are required to obtain e-PIN cost N3,500 at any Banks. Also you can obtain e-PIN online through the use of USSD Code. SMS charge may apply).
5. Go to any closest JAMB CBT accredited centres along with your documents including NIN and e-PIN to complete your UTME registration.
6. Cafe operator of the JAMB CBT accredited centre will attend you and complete the UTME registration for you. Candidates are strongly advised to select preferred exam date and Centre, and complete the biometric capture.
7. Print out your JAMB registration slip. JAMB registration slip can be printed after successful of the registration, JAMB registration slip will be present at the UTME examination venue.
