The Federal government of Nigeria has officially approved 50,000 thousand constables to recruits into the Nigeria police force.

The Nigeria police force and the police service commission has commenced the 2025 recruitment on 15th December, 2025 for the 50,000 new police officers. Interested Nigerians can apply through the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) 2025 official recruitment portal.

Applicants must have the following requirements before been eligible to join the Nigeria Police Force. Below is the breakdown of the NPF Recruitment 2025 Requirements:

Nationality: Be a citizen of Nigeria by birth or Neutralization
Qualifications: Must have a minimum of five credits in O”Level results (NECO/WAEC/GCE/NABTED) in not more than two settings paper and must includes Mathematics and English Language.
Means of Identification: Applicants must have an active National Identity Number (NIN).
Age Limit: Applicants must between 18-28 years
Height Measurement: Must have at least 1.67 metres (tall) for male and 1.64 metres (tall) for female applicant
Chest Measurement: Applicants must at least 34 inches (86cm ) expandable for applicable for men.
Heath Status: Applicants to join Nigeria police force must be mentally and physically physically fit. Applicants with physically and mentally challenged is not eligible to apply.
Pregnant Status: Applicants to join into the Nigeria police force must not be pregnant during the recruitment.
Guarantors Form: Applicants applied must download guarantors and fill it with required details and must be signed by the guarantors.
Criminal Records: Applicants must have not convicted any offense.
