PTDF Scholarship Requirements

1. MSc Applicants Requirements

To apply PTDF Scholarship for M.Sc, Applicants Must:

Applicant must possess a minimum of 2.1 (second class upper in his/her first degree qualifications and or a 2.2 (second class lower division) and includes relevant industry experience.
Applicant must completed his/her mandatory NYSC serving
Applicant must possess five 5 credits in O’Level results includes Mathematics and English Language in at least two settings paper.
Applicant must be a computer literate ( Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel etc)
Applicant must have an active National Identity Number (NIN). The National Identity Number must be fully verified by the NIMC while applying for the PTDF scholarship.
Applicant must write a statement of purpose in at least 500 words starting describes the reasons for the proposed study relevance to the companies and also expected effect on national development.

2. PhD Applicants Requirements

To apply PTDF Scholarship for PhD. Applicants Must:

Applicant must completed his/her mandatory NYSC serving
Applicant must possess five 5 credits in O’Level results includes Mathematics and English Language in at least two settings paper.
Applicant must be a computer literate ( Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel etc)
Applicant must have a minimum of second class lower division in his/her first degree and excellent Postgraduate Degree (PGD).
Applicant must submit a research proposal related to the oil and gas companies ( research proposal should be submitted in more than 5 pages) excludes topic, introduction, objective of research, research methodology and mode of data collection.
Applicant must have an active National Identity Number (NIN). The National Identity Number must be fully verified by the NIMC while applying for the PTDF scholarship.
