MTN Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
1. Eligible Institution of Study
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students is open to Nigerian students in Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
2. Eligible Course of Study
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) is open to 300 level students studying Science & Technology and related courses in Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
MTN foundation Scholarship for Blind Students is open to 200-300 level Blind students studying any programmes in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
3. Eligible Level of Study
The application for MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) is open to students who have finished their second semester in 200 level examinations moving to 300 level and students currently in their 300 level. The understand that some institution academic calendar is not aligned in all public tertary institutions across Nigeria.
The application for The MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to 200-300 level blind students in any public Nigerian Tertiary Institutions (eg. Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education). Therefore, blind students studying in 5 years course like Law, only 300 level students can apply for the MTN foundation Scholarship 2026.
4. Eligible Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) enrolled in any recognized Students in Public Polytechnics must have obtained a at least second class upper credit (3.5 for overall scale point of 3.00 while 3.5 from overall scale point of 5.00) Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) enrolled in any recognized Students in Public Polytechnics must have obtained a at least upper credit (3.5) Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from National/ordinary Diploma and must be admitted into HND program.
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) admitted into any recognized public Universities as direct entry must have obtained a minimum of upper credit (3.0) Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from National/ordinary Diploma program and must be in 300 level.
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) admitted in any recognized Nigerian Universities or Colleges of Education must have obtained at least 2.5 (lower credit) of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) enrolled in any recognized Students in Public Polytechnics must have obtained a at least 2.0 (lower credit) of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from National/ordinary Diploma and must be admitted into HND program.

MTN Scholarship 2026 Selection Process
1. Submit online Application: eligible Nigerians students should submit their scholarship application form online via the scholarship official portal.
