The National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency is a federal law enforcement agency responsible for combating drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria.

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency was established in 1989 under the leadership of general ibrahim babangida.

The NDLEA recruitment for the 2026 will starts on january 2026 for interested and qualified Nigerians who wishes to be part of the commission.

NDLEA Recruitment Basic Requirements

• Been a Nigerian Citizens by Birth or Neutralization.
• Aged between the range of 18-40 years.
• Have a minimum of 1.65 metres (tall) Height Measurement for male and 1.60 metres (tall) Height Measurement for female candidates.
• Have Minimum of five (5) Credits in NECO, WAEC, GCE or NABTED, in not more than two settings paper and includes English language and Mathematics.
• Have an Active National Identity Number (NIN).
• Been a medically and physically fit.
  Passport photography with white background color.
• Must not been convicted any criminal record.

NDLEA Recruitment Individual Requirements

1. Superintendent Cadre

Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II (CONPASS 08)

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree or HND in any disciplines.
• NYSC Serving Certificate or Exemption Letter
• Age of between 20-35 years while Doctors 40 years.

Assistants Superintendent of Narcotics I (CONPASS 09)

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in LLB or Pharmacy.
• NYSC Serving Certificate or Exemption Letter
• Age of between 20-35 years while Doctors 40 years.

Deputy superintendent of Narcotics (COMPASS 10)

• Have a Minimum of MBBS
• NYSC Serving Certificate or Exemption Letter
• Age of between 20-35 years while Doctors 40 years.

2. Narcotic Agent Cadre

Chief Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 07)

• Possess a minimum of NCE, lab technicians, Pharmacy technicians, Dental technicians or
  registered nurses.
• Age of between 18 to 30 years.

Senior Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 06)

• Possess a minimum of National Diploma or equivalent certificate in any disciplines.
• Age of between 18-30 years.

Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 05)

• Minimum of five (5) Credits in NECO, WAEC, GCE or NABTED, in not more than two settings paper and includes English language and Mathematics.
• Age of between 18-30 years.

3. Narcotic Assistant Cadre

Narcotic Assistant I (CONPASS 04)

• Minimum of Four (4) Credits in NECO, WAEC, GCE or NABTED, in not more than two settings paper and includes English language or Mathematics.
• Age of between 18-30 years.

Narcotic Assistant II (CONPASS 03)

• Minimum of Three (3) Credits in NECO, WAEC, GCE or NABTED, in not more than two settings paper and includes English language or Mathematics or having Trade Tested Certificate.
• Age of between 18-30 years.

NDLEA recruitment 2026 Stages

The NDLEA 2026 Recruitment stages includes the following:

• Submit Online application
• Review applications and Shortlist successfully candidates
• Computer Based Test (CBT) Aptitude test
• Physical screening for Successfully candidates who passed the CBT stage.
• Medical screening
• Shortlisted for Interview
• Final list and undergo a six 6 months training

To apply for NDLEA 2026 recruitment, applicant need to follow the simple steps below:
1. visit the official recruitment portal.

2. Create an account using the required details.

3. Fill application form using your personal informations, education informations and other required informations.

4. Upload a scanned copies of all mandatory documents.

6. Review all the details to ensure everything is correct and click on Submit to apply.

7. After submitting the application form, proceed to print out acknowledgment slip for Computer Based Test. Applicants who did not comes along with their acknowledgement slip to the computer based centre will not be entertained.

Is the NDLEA 2025 Application form open?
