The Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) has now opens an application form for admission into 78 regular courses. The Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) Kaduna online application form for admission into the 78 regular course will be available on the NDA official admission portal from Friday November 28th, 2025 to Thursday April 30th, 2026.

The NDA admission into the 78 regular course is now opens for both interested and qualified Nigerians male and female. Interested candidates should visit the NDA official admission portal and log on the application portal via www.ndaapplications.net, choose Purchase Access Code, complete the required details and proceed to pay an RRR sum of N7,000 to any banks and or using card debit.

NDA Admission Into 78 Regular Course Requirements 

To gain admission into the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) 78 regular course, must have the following requirements and screening Test:

• Applicants must be medically and physically fit and must be of good behavior.
• Applicants must be a single male or female without legal obligation to support any child or other individuals.
• Applicants must provide a certificate of Indigeneship from the state government or local government area.
• Applicants must be between 17-21 years as of August 2026 at the time of application.
• Applicants must have five credits 5 passed in NECO, WAEC, GCE, NABTED and NBAIB including English language, Mathematics and three 3 other subjects which are relevant to the desired programme at not more than 2 sittings exam.
• Applicants must have scored a minimum cut off mark in UTME as approved by the JAMB.
• Applicants must not be less than 1.68M tall for male and 1.65M tall for female. Candidates with knowledge of Arabic or French is an added advantage.
• Must have score 210 in UTME for engineering courses while other facilities must score a minimum of 180

NDA Admission Into 78 Regular Course Screening Date Test 

The Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) will conduct screening test to any candidates seeking admission into 78 regular course. The screening test date is follows below:

Post-UTME Screening: The post UTME screening will commence on Saturday June 6th, 2026. All eligible candidates should comes to the screening test center with the following requirements:

• Acknowledgement slip
• Two 2 postcard photographs 
• Screening Test Admission Card
• JAMB result slip

NB: The postcard photographs should contains the candidates Full Name, Exam number, State of origin, Exam Centre, Course of study and candidates Signature at the back of the postcard photographs.

Only candidates who successfully undergo Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) Screening test will be contacted for the Armed Forces Selection Board.

Candidates Admitted: All admitted candidates into Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) 78 regular course will go for military academic training school as an officer cadets and take a period of five 5 years duration. Candidates who successful completing of the 5 training will be awarded with a honours degree in BSc, BEng or BA and candidates will additionally earn a Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
