The RecycleUp call applications for its 2025 innovation programme for entrepreneurs and young innovators who are situated conscious. The programme is aims to empower the entrepreneurs and the young innovators and provides them with skills acquisition, knowledge and resources and also support Nigerian to mitigate the wastes problem and catalyze the transition towards to the country circular economy development.

This recycleup innovation programme is an initiatives designed to adopts a multi faceted approach to resolve the pressing environmental challenges across the country while at the sametime creating opportunities for young innovators, employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable to the development of the circular economy of the country. The programme also strictly contributing to a cleaner and others environmentally and prosperous essential responsible for the nation.

The RecycleUp innovation programme is merely focuses on the following essential key sectors: Built Environment, Electronics and ICT, Energy, Food and Agriculture, Organic Material and Biowaste, Packaging and Plastics, Textiles and Water.

Objectives of RecycleUp Innovation Programme

1. Empower Green Enterprises: This programme supporting the creation and development of sustainable policies and circular businesses that create economic value, create jobs and contribute to a cleaner and greener Nigeria.

2. Building a Network of Entrepreneurs: This programme established network of young innovators, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, policymakers and leaders to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration and policy that alignment for the development of a circular economy.
3. Boosting Circular Innovation and Entrepreneurship: This recycleup innovation programme equipping at least 1000 entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to develop and scale up new circular economy initiatives.
4. Promoting Circular Economy in the Country: Advocating and facilitating the implementation of sustainable waste management, recycling, and circular economy systems across all 36 states of Nigeria, connecting millions of people, households, and businesses.
5. The RecycleUp Innovation program is designed to support a variety of stakeholders committed to advancing the circular economy and sustainable waste management including Students, Researchers, Inventors and Entrepreneurs, households, organizations and others.

RecycleUp Innovation Programme Eligibility Criteria

Candidates to participate in recycleup innovation programme, you need to have the following requirements:

Must be a Nigerian citizens and between the age of 21-40 years.
Must demonstrate potential leadership and a strong commitment to making a strong positive impact in their environmental communities.
Must have full access to a stable internet connection and data etc to necessarily to participate in the programme virtual activities and meetings.
Must be ready to spent a minimum of five 5 hours in a week and available time to actively participate in the programme activities.
Must demonstrate crucial interest and passion for the circular economy and a love to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development across Nigeria
