FG Free Upskilling Programme for 10M Nigerian Youths and Women

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launches fully funded upskilling initiative aimed at empowering 10 million Nigerian youths and women with globally relevant skills. The upskilling programme is powered through the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) under the Office of the Vice President.

The upskilling programme is designed to equip Nigerian youths and women with practical knowledge and competencies that can improve employability, promote entrepreneurship and enhance financial.

Upskilling Programme Overview

The upskilling programme focuses on building capacity across key sectors that are critical to economic growth and individual empowerment. All Participants will gain access to structured training in the following:

1	Digital and technology skills
2	Entrepreneurship and income generation
3	Financial literacy
4	Personal development and leadership

Upskilling Programme Areas of Training

Participants for the upskilling programme will have access to a wide range of skill development tracks tailored to meet present market demands. Below are the seven (7) selected upskilling training areas for the programme:

1. Business and Entrepreneurship Area: This training area will a provides a complete guidance on starting and managing businesses, financial planning and scaling small enterprises.

2. Creative Arts and Design Area: This training area will normally offering an opportunities in graphic design, content creation and other creative industries.

3. Healthcare and Wellness Area: This is training area will introduce the basic healthcare knowledge and wellness practices.

4. Hospitality and Tourism Area: This training area aims to Equipping learners with skills relevant to service based industries.

5. Personal and Leadership Development Area: This training area will building a soft skills such as communication, critical thinking and leadership.

6. Skilled Trades and Engineering Area: This type of training area Focusing on vocational and technical skills that are essential for infrastructure and industrial growth.

7. Technology and Digital Skills Area: This training area covering areas such as digital marketing, data analysis, software development and basic information technology (IT) competencies.
