TVET Batch B Registration 2026: Requirements and Application Form 

The Federal government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of education (FMC) has officially announces the commencement date for the TVET batch B registration 2026.

The Federal Ministry of Education has announced that the reopen of the TVET batch B registration 2026. The application portal will reopen on 8th April, 2026 which giving opportunity for those who missed the first batch of the TVET Programme and also applicants who applied but their application status is still “pending” or beneficiaries were selected unfortunately did not reporting or attending the training at the aligned training centres.

About FME TVET Initiative?

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative is a designed program powered by the federal government through the Federal Ministry of Education (FME). This Technical and Vocational Education and Training was  designed to empower and trains young Nigerians with practical acquisition skills across Nigeria for the opportunity for employment and entrepreneurship.

The TVET Initiative is divided into two programme; the 6 months programme and the one year programme.

The Federal Ministry of Education has opened a TVET application portal in 2025 for first batch registration. Beneficiaries selected in first batch will enjoy with the practice skills from different selected skills areas plus training allowance (monthly stipends) of N22,500 per beneficiary for up to 6 months to cover feeding and transportation cost.

Meanwhile, the federal ministry of education will reopen the TVET batch B registration 2026 on 8th April, 2026 for one year programme. In first batch federal ministry of education only selected the applicants who applied for 6 months programme.

TVET Registration 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. TVET Registration General Requirements for all applicants

Applicants to be qualify for the TVET registration 2026 need to have following basic/general requirements:

  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) together NIN.
  • Must have a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN).

2. TVET Registration Programme Specific Requirements

Applicants to be qualify for the TVET registration 2026 need to have following programme specific requirements below:

  1. Short-Term Certificate (STC) Programme (6 months programme)
  • No prior educational qualification required (applicants with first school leaving certificates, trainees certificate or no formal education are eligible to apply).
  1. Vocational Education and Innovation (VEI) Programme (1 year programme)
  • Have a recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (applicants with first school leaving certificates, trainees certificate or with formal education).

Step (1): Visit the FME TVET Initiative official portal through 

Step (2): Create an account on the TVET Initiative portal using the required details

Step (3): Select your preferred programme (one year programme or 6 months programme)

Step (4): Fill the application form and upload the required supporting documents

Step (5): Choose your preferred training centre

Step (6): Click on SUBMIT to submit your application
