FG National MSME Awards 2026: How to Apply, Eligibility & Benefits
The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially announces the commencement date for the opening of application portal for its National MSNE Awards 2026 for Nigerian eligible Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The application portal for the Federal government National MSNE Awards Program will opens on Tuesday April 7th, 2026.
The Application Portal for the National MSNE Awards Program will be accessible from tuesday april 7th, 2026 and close by tuesday May 7th, 2026 (30 days period).
The Federal government has unveiled the National MSME Awards 2026 program to empower and support Nigerians Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
The Federal government is targets to disburse over ₦1 billion in grants, prizes and support packages to beneficiaries. This government initiative programme aims to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for National MSME Awards 2026
Applicants to be qualify for the National MSME Awards 2026, applicants must be:
1. A registered business operating in Nigeria.
2. Must fall within the MSME classification (Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise).
3. Must demonstrate business impact, innovation and sustainability.
4. Must have maintain proper financial or operational records.
5. Must have a valid and active business registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
6. Must have a functional Tax Identification Number (TIN).
7. Must have submit Supporting documents includes:
- SON certificate
- NAFDAC Certificate
- SMEDAN certificate, NEPC certificate or ITF certificate
- Tax Clearance Certificate
8. Must submit an online application with a short video of not more than 2 minutes.

To apply for the FG National MSNE Awards 2026, interested and qualified applicants are required to follow the steps below:
Step (1): Visit the FG National MSNE Awards application portal through msmeclinics.gov.ng/msme-awards/
Step (2) Select the desire category from the available awards categories.
Step (3) Sign up an account with your details; Full Name, Business Name, Gender, Phone Number and Date of Birth.
Step (4): Upload a clear 2 minimum video, explaining your business level, business impact and business achievements.
Step (5): Fill the online application form with all required fields and documents.
Step (6): Double check all the entries and submit the application form.
